Can AC4 and AC5 laminate – vinyl flooring is appropriate for homes?
AC5 grade is not recommended in homes. First reason is the price. You do not need pay more for less use. AC5 is not necessary for home usage. No need to overpay. AC5 is durable, it is correct but more expensive. The second reason is its rough texture. AC5 is often high-pressure laminate that has a rough texture. It may puts holes in socks and can be uncomfortable for bare feet, if you do not wear something inside you house consistently. (In soter people have shoes on, so there may be no damage).
AC4 is between AC3 and AC5. AC3 is durable enough for 95% of homes. If you can find a good price for AC4, you can consider in your house.
